Humble Bundle, in partnership with SEGA® and Relic Entertainment™ have announced that their latest deal offering computer games to the public at a discounted rate, will benefit WDC to the tune of $72,000.
For a short period of time to June 4th, gamers were encourged to access certain game packages, called Humble Bundles, in exchange for a donation. Humble Bundle sells digital content through its pay-what-you-want bundle promotions and the Humble Store. When purchasing a bundle, customers chose how much they want to pay and decided where their money goes. Thankfully, many chose WDC. Part of the money raised for WDC will help support orca research work in Canada.
Since the company’s launch in 2010, Humble Bundle has raised more than $59 million through the support of its community for a wide range of charities, providing aid across the world.
